Peter is a football coach with heart and soul

Peter is a former professional soccer player and also played for the Kazakh national team.

He was active in Soviet clubs for several years. In Germany he worked for 1. FC Mainz in the 2. Bundesliga for many years. Until 2003 he played in the team with Jürgen Klopp for almost ten years. When Jürgen Klopp took over the pros as coach, Peter trained the U23s for years.

After further coaching positions in Germany, Peter became sports director of the youth division of Revan Baku FK in Azerbaijan in 2012. In 2016 he moved to FK Qairat Almaty in Kazakhstan, where he was also head of the youth department as sports director.

Since 2019 Peter has been training the B-Youth (U17) in the B-Junior Bundesliga of SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
